We (NC) can't do that ...

... reading Mr. Farley's (CF?) active posts reminds me of me. (But, as a retiree, all contacts intanet are immediately expunged.)

An 'operations addict' (don't need the admin load for a lousy 5%), I appreciate the comments re 'ATC overload'. Some suggestions by Mr. Farley struck a chord:

- electronic / technological "relief". Actually, the Controller with a possible (even 'futuristic') solution holds the thin edge of the wedge. Someone with 2 decades of experience has a pretty firm grip. (really) *

- personnel related ("We don't staff for peaks" - sung to the tune of 'Ol McDonald had a farm'.) "relief". CF, I could not find a way to PM you on this or your webpage ... Maybe, I could provide background of 'mutual interest'.

That's it - there are "people" and "things". I am not now (never was) interested in politics or 'personal agendas'. **

* anecdotes are not evidence ... (unless the application of the wedge is successful)

** it is amazing what things people can achieve when "empowered". (I apologize for the use of this 2007 buzzword, because 'empowerment' comes from within.)

P.S. I was never 'dollar driven', and (except early on) I was not considered a 'problem employee'. (Why does it go 'click, click' when I answer the phone?) hi hi
